This is the point at the Wednesday 10-28-09 Board of Estimates meeting where Katie Shea began to report to the Board on the assessment of an Institute of Internal Auditors group regarding the present state of the City of Minneapolis internal audit function. Mayor Rybak was able to withstand about one sentence -- he then left the meeting for the duration of Shea's report. I've been told by several people that this is a pattern -- the Mayor is apparently simply unable to hear criticism of what he does or doesn't do. -- Bob Carney Jr.
